NIBS Worldwide Business Plan Competition 2026 – Registration Now Open!

The NIBS Business Plan Competition invites UBB students to develop an innovative product or service idea and pitch it to an international panel of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real entrepreneurial experience, strengthen your CV, and compete for €2,600 in prizes. Prize categories:
  • €1,200 – First place
  • €800 – Second place
  • €400 – Third place
  • €200 – Fourth place
Who can register? UBB undergraduate or postgraduate students working in teams of 2–5 members. Each university may enter maximum two teams. Registration deadline: 23 January 2026
  • Quick online registration (university, number of teams, team coach).
  • €150 registration fee paid by card or invoice.
Competition timeline:
  • 16 March 2026: Submission of business plan + 7-minute pitch video
  • 24 April 2026: Finalists announced
  • 14 May 2026: Online final round & Q&A with judges
