Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs – Institutional Summary (English)

On 6 June 2025, the halls of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FSEGA) at Babeș-Bolyai University hosted an official event dedicated to the national Start-Up Nation 2024–2025 program. The session was organized by the UBB Entrepreneurship Center, with the strategic support of Vice-Rector Levente Szász, a strong promoter of university-level entrepreneurial education.

The event featured the participation of representatives from:

• The Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (including the AIMM Cluj Territorial Center)
• AIPPIMM (Agency for the Implementation of Projects and Programs for SMEs)
• Partner banking institutions
• Consultants and start-up advisors

Over 100 participants, including students, PhD candidates and academic staff, attended the interactive sessions dedicated to accessing non-reimbursable funding of up to 250,000 RON for start-up initiatives.

The UBB Entrepreneurship Center continues to serve as a resource and support hub for all students interested in turning a business idea into a viable entrepreneurial project.
